Molokai Holokai: Connecting Paddlers and Sponsors
The annual Molokai Holokai Ho'olaule'a is a festival, July 18-19, 2025 that celebrates sport and community.
The events kick of day 1 with an international field paddling the Pailolo Channel, a challenging 26-mile course from Maui to Molokai. The channel tests athletes, showcasing the incredible physical and mental endurance demanded of them as they embark to paddle from one island to another.
A finish line festival on Molokai celebrates ocean awareness and island resources with vendors, outreach programs, and beach clean up.
Day 2 continues the celebration of sport with the 5K Holo Fun Run, a 10 mile Kamalo downwind paddle, and the Keiki and Makua race. Cultural workshops, local food, and entertainment highlight the festivities at the finish line at the Molokai Community Health Center, Kaunakakai, Molokai.

Cost
The Molokai is not a cheap event to run. We have raised the bar and expectations are high and we plan to improve each year. We forego a lot of necessary expenses this year to keep our costs down.
With the cost to run the event we believe that the dollar value is returned and 2024 was an exceptional year with athletes coming from 18 countries, state wide and community involvement
